Interior Painting
We have a real passion for interiors here at Wheatcroft. We can paint walls and ceilings by hand or spray for an ultra smooth finish. We are competent in all areas of woodwork including windowsills, doors and frames, skirting, dado and picture rails and furniture. We can also fit coving to match existing or replace with new where needed.
Our process involves meticulously looking at the walls, ceilings and woodwork, then repairing any imperfections that are seen at different points in the day with natural light. We also use a spotlight that can pick up things that may go un-noticed with the naked eye. These are filled with a strong powdered filler, sanded and then followed with spot priming. Any foreign material on the walls like blu-tak, cellotape, pins and nails can be removed to avoid any damage to the wall and ensure a pristine finish. Rest assured we can solve all these problems and have the tools to combat difficult areas.
Once we are happy we apply a minimum of two top coats, some brands of paint and finishes require further coats which we can talk you through when planning your project. We sand in-between coats to ensure a high quality and immaculate finish.
